A number of ring attires worn by WWE Hall of Famer and pro wrestling icon “Macho Man” Randy Savage recently went up for auction and were sold for tens of thousands of dollars.
One of the biggest stars in pro wrestling history and still a prominent part of pop culture, Savage’s iconic look is instantly recognisable to fans and has been often replicated in the wider world of sports and entertainment with many paying homage to the “Macho Man.”
On February 23rd, Heritage Auctions sold off 23 ring-worn items from Savage’s career along with individual trading cards and packs, many of which were signed by the former World Champion with some containing multiple signatures, increasing the value even further.
Randy Savage Auctions Nets Thousands
The biggest seller was Savage’s iconic red and yellow Slim Jim attire, which was photo-matched to his Bash at the Beach 1995 match against Ric Flair and sold for $45,140.00:

Other big sellers from the auction included a 1990 checked design that was worn for matches against Hulk Hogan and Dusty Rhodes, which sold for $26,840.00, along with Savage’s pink Royal Rumble 1991 attire, which sold for $19,520.00:

Showcasing many of Savage’s iconic looks, other outfits featured included gear from his time in the nWo and the orange and black outfit used in the main event of Halloween Havoc 1996, which saw Savage once again face off against long-time rival Hulk Hogan.
With 16 ring-worn outfits and memorabilia sold, the total revenue from the auction was $197,531.00, highlighting Savage’s continued popularity in 2025.
